Rose Bird Clay is a creative, community-focused pottery studio where artists of all experience levels work alongside one another. Our classes are a mixed group of beginners, intermediate potters, and experienced ceramic artists working on a wide variety of projects—from functional dinnerware and wheel-thrown pottery to hand-built pieces and sculpture. Classes are offered Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings, with instruction tailored to each artist’s experience and individual goals. Learn the pottery wheel from the very beginning or continue developing more advanced throwing and finishing techniques. Hand-building and sculptural work are equally encouraged, with guidance available as you develop your own ideas and style. The studio also offers a large selection of glazes, giving artists plenty of room to experiment with color, surface, and finishing techniques. Come with an idea, learn new skills, and work alongside an interesting mix of artists.
